Electricity is 230 volts/50 cycles. Kufri is on IST (Indian Standard Time) or plus 5½ hours Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Climate
The finest weather in Kufri occurs in Spring or Autumn. Days are bright and sunny with mild temperatures, Although it can get quite cold at night. The summer months of May through July see a temperature range of 28°C (82.4°F) to 14°C (57.2°F) throughout the day and night. An occasional shower however can bring down the mercury in a hurry. Autumn is similar to spring with warm temperatures in the day time and low temperatures in the night. During the height of the winter months, (December to Mid March), days are crisp and sunny except for the time it is snowing. During this time, the temperature typically ranges from a high of 17°C (62.6°F) to an overnight low of approximately -3°(26.6°F) in the dead of winter.
What to Take?
Some medicine if you suffer from mountain driving (in that case do not travel on an empty stomach. Your camera with plenty of memory cards and the charger. Binoculars. Canvas and paint brushes if you like to paint, Golf set if you play golf and Books if you like to read.
Clothing
During the winter months of November to March - Parka or thick well insulated jacket, gloves, cap (preferably with ear muffs), muffler, thick denims or warm trousers. For elders it is advisable to carry thermal vests and underpants. Carry an extra pair of shoes if you are planning on snow ball fights everyday.
Summers - Light woolens /warm clothes will be required, particularly in the morning and evening with lighter clothing for the rest of the day. Guests should, at all times, travel with comfortable walking shoes.

The hotel has its own internet connection and guests can avail the facility at a small charge of Rs. 60 an hour.

All major credit cards are generally accepted by our resort and other large establishments including hotels, shops, and airlines.
What not to take?
Your work, your tensions and your worries. Leave them behind cause you might loose them in Kufri.
